Today is the first day in two weeks where we have stayed in and been deservingly lazy. This Easter break has been a concoction of playdates, family gatherings and train journeys so a chance to stay inside and do nothing is just what I needed. It also gave me more time to get creative with the boy’s lunches.
I usually have a box of Bear Yoyos in the cupboard as a quick, healthy snack option for the boys but yesterday I picked up a box of their new Claws. They come is several flavours but being a sucker for anything green I had to go for the Apple, pear, pumpkin and spinach flavour. Each packet contains different monster body parts which let kids build their own fruit and vegetable creatures, something Dylan really enjoyed.
To follow on with the Bear theme I also put together these peanut butter bear toast faces using dried bananas and fresh blueberries (fresh bananas are a better option for holding the blueberries in place but Dilly was incredibly insistent about me using dried ones today.)
